Axis makes rapid prototyping for the medical sector in these times of crisis.

In these times of health crisis, Axis is mobilizing to combat covid-19 by producing visors in Multi Jet Fusion HP in collaboration with two other Limoges-based companies: STARPLAST Thermoplastics solutions and ADDIDREAM. That’s why we dedicate some of our production machines to the manufacture of these protective visors, designed primarily to protect nursing staff. These 3D-printed visors are necessary to add an extra barrier against spray, saliva or secretions. The visor has become indispensable as a complement to FFP2 masks in the fight against the spread of the virus.

Axis produces other types of parts in Multijet Fusion HP and epoxy resin.

In addition to these protective visors, Axis is committed to detection and patient care. Axis has carried out free tests with the Clinique Pasteur in Toulouse, using empty cups to screen for COVID-19. For our partner EOVE, we help produce respirators (medical ventilators) in epoxy resin or Multi Jet Fusion HP to help people suffering from the virus recover.
