Axis has been producing automotive prototypes since its creation in 1997. Automotive prototyping is at the heart of our business because many of our customers are part of this industrial sector.

It is therefore natural for us to sponsor car racers on major races such as the Hankook 24H Dubai 2021 which takes place from January 14 to 16, 2021. We see a real interest in highlighting our identity on the circuits in order to reaffirm our desire to continue in automotive prototyping.

This year we are sponsoring the BMW M4 GT4 of Team 3Y Technology led by Guillaume Maillard who wears the number 451. The drivers Gilles Vannelet, Gilles Lallement, Rodrigo Almeida, Vincent Piemonte and Thomas Sørensen will have the chance to drive this vehicle released in 2017 with 431 horsepower with a 3.0l M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine.

Whether in Selective Laser Sintering, Multi Jet Fusion HP, vacuum casting or Stereolithography, we are used to producing my prototypes of all components of a vehicle.

Selective Laser Sintering or Multijet Fusion HP will rather be used for so-called technical parts, vacuum casting for parts required in mini-series and stereolithography for appearance parts. Selective Laser Sintering, for example with the PA 12 Glass Filled material, is often appreciated for its technicality and its good resistance. Stereolithography, with Accura Clearvue resin, makes it possible to have transparent parts with or without tinted varnish in order to best imitate parts such as headlights or light guides. Vacuum casting, for its part, is an optimal solution to obtain more or less flexible parts (in A shore or D shore) quantity that can range from 5, to 10 or even 50 copies depending on the difficulty of production or with similar materials. injection materials (ABS, Polypro, POM or even PA).

Thanks to our teams of modelers, we have the ability to bring many finishes to your parts so that they are as faithful as possible to the final version which will be released at the point of sale with metallization, paint finish with a specialized body painting or even with the addition of graining for a hyper realistic rendering.
