Rapid prototyping: what is additive manufacturing by 3D printing?

3D printingis an additive manufacturing process, that is to say by adding material. 3D printinghas been developed among other things forrapid prototyping thanks to digital control and CAD (Computer Aided Design). 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies

3D printing is associated with a 3D printer which can be more or less technologically developed (classic, tripod, multi-material …), but which is very different from the machines we have.
